About Photography by Mark Andrew

Hi, I'm Mark, the Owner and Photographer of Photography by Mark Andrew.

I am originally from the Black Country in the West Midlands, yes I'm a yam yam.

I left there in 1989 and yes, I still have the accent.

After much travelling and living in different parts of the UK, I ended up in Wrexham, North Wales, where I am now settled.

I am a Full time Wedding Photographer, which means you will always have my full attention.

I have a bit of a crazy sense of humour and also like people to feel comfortable when they're with me. I am also very reliable and do not like letting people down.

I have been a Full time Wedding Photographer since 2016 and since I am self taught, I have developed my own various styles in Wedding Photography.

Before 2016 I was a Professional DJ running my own Mobile Disco since the 1980's.

In my spare time I love to get out into nature and do Woodland and Landscape Photography, I have had quite a few bookings for Wedding Photography because of this.

Photography by Mark Andrew has been running since 2016, and was originally an extension to the Disco but eventually took over. Since then I have Photographed over 250 Weddings in many different venues in England and Wales.

Also, for your peace of mind, I have £2 Million Public Liability Insurance (available on request) in case of, in the highly unlikely event that something goes wrong.

How I work:

If you feel nervous in front of the camera, I will help you through this by I cracking a few silly jokes amongst other things to help you feel more comfortable as it is my job to try to get the best images possible.

I like to work with you and your guests in a way that includes them all as I don't believe in leaving people out.
I work with 2 cameras at all times during your day, with various types of lenses and other equipment.
During your Wedding Breakfast, I like to sit in another part of the venue to backup your images and videos taken so far. I back these up to at least 3 different places, I then change the SD card to fresh ones. This also gives chance for me to change camera flash batteries.
When I get home later, your images and videos are then uploaded into the cloud and other places for backup and are kept in the cloud for up to 12 months and the SD cards that were used will not be used again until all of the Photos and Videos are edited and delivered.

And finally, I do not use AI to edit Photos as I prefer to edit your images in a more natural looking way.

You can see below, just a few venues that I have worked at.

These are the Policies that I work to:

1) To provide the best Photos possible at an affordable price.
2) To never show children on any Social Media. This means that any Photos with Children on will be edited and emailed directly to the Bride and Groom.
3) If one or both the Bride and Groom are in the Emergency or Security Services, such as Armed Forces, Police etc, I will never put Photos from these events on any social media, I do this to maintain privacy etc, so in this case, any sneek peeks will be sent by email.
All edited images will be uploaded to a private online photo gallery and a link is then emailed to you as I do not send the link to anyone else.
The same is for Videos.
Photo galleries are kept online and accessible for up to a year but don't worry because your galleries will the be stored indefinitely in the cloud and on a desktop hard drive in case I have to re upload them for any reason.
Videos are kept online for up to a year and are also kept indefinitely on a desktop hard drive in case I have to re upload them for any reason.
